MD SOHEL RANA ACA, FCCA (UK), FIFC (USA)

Mr. Md Sohel Rana is a renowned chartered accountant having more than 13 years of versatile experience in the corporate sector of Bangladesh. As a passionate finance professional, he gained extensive experience in the Statutory Audit, Financial and Management Consultancy, Corporate Reporting, Corporate Taxation, Company Affairs, and Business Process Development while working with top business houses in Bangladesh and abroad. Mr. Rana holds dual Chartered Accountancy Qualification from UK and Bangladesh. One is from the world most prestigious global accountancy body, The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and another one is from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He is also a Certified Financial Consultant (CFC) and fellow member of the Institute of Financial Consultants (IFC), USA.

In 2023, he formed his own venture, Executive Business Advisory Consultants (EBAC). This is a comprehensive consultant’s platform in Bangladesh, offering all business consultancy solutions under one umbrella. As a founder, currently he serving this fantastic consultants platform with his visionary thoughts and advice. Currently, EBAC is serving almost 70+ foreign and local business organization including valued clients from China, Japan, India, Pakistan, Hongkong, Korea, Netherlands UK & USA.

In 2024, he formed his another venture, SOHEL RANA & CO., Chartered Accountants a registered CA firm under ICAB and started his career as a practicing Chartered Accountant in Bangladesh. After one year successful operation and tremendous business growth, in 2025 he take it into a Partnership CA firm and renamed at SOHEL RASEL & CO., Chartered Accountants with an extended capacity of resources and facilities.   

Formerly, Mr. Rana served Hosaf Group of Companies (one of the large and oldest business conglomerate in Bangladesh) as Group Chief Financial Officer from November 2021 to September 2023 as one of the youngest Group CFO in Bangladesh. Before that, he started his career in Accounts and Finance department with PEB Steel Alliance Limited (the largest pre-fabricated steel manufacturing company in Bangladesh)  a sister concern of Alliance Holdings Limited and worked for almost 5 years (from 2017 to 2021). Mr. Rana has completed his CA articleship from Masih Muhith Haque & Co., Chartered Accountants (a member firm of RSM International Network), a top ranked CA firm in Bangladesh.

Mr. Rana has been featured as a “Professional Icon” in the international magazine The InCAP in March 2023. He has been awarded the “Most Promising Finance Professional of the Year: 2023 (South Asia)” in the Worldwide Finance Award-2023 by Acquisition International, UK.
